Three suspected bandits gunned down in Loima, Turkana county

A shootout between the police and suspected bandits in Loima, Turkana county left 3 dead begging the question of whether the year-long program Operation Maliza Uhalifu has borne any fruits with pockets of violence being reported in 5 worst hit counties on the rise. The spike in insecurity has left hundreds displaced from their homes as they move to escape banditry attacks.
