“I hope they're proud”: BC woman leaves family behind to volunteer in Ukraine

We all know what it is like to make sacrifices, but one B.C. woman is making a major sacrifice of her own by leaving her family to volunteer in Ukraine. April Huggett has been helping civilians and soldiers in the war-torn country for 17 months, even though she had originally planned to be there for just 20 days.
