Widespread corruption mar public procurement in counties

Widespread corruption and a lack of transparency have marred public procurement in the 47 counties. This is according to a survey by the kenya CSO devolution working group, which showed that kenyans at the grassroots are largely dissatisfied with the level of service delivery in the devolved units. This comes a day after the ethics and Anticorruption Commission released a report showing that Kenyans across the counties regularly give bribes to obtain government services.
