King Charles Leaves The Bahamas
His Majesty King Charles III departed from The Bahamas this morning in the same grand style that he arrived. Government officials led by Governor General Her Excellency the Most Hon. Dame Cynthia Pratt were at the Lynden Pindling International Airport to see His Majesty off.
While in the country, the King had several engagements including a youth rally and a mini cultural festival where he took part in a Junkanoo parade.
This was the King’s first royal visit as the monarch. The last time he was in The Bahamas was at the celebrations for independence in 1973.
